The red thread of the conference is to gather speakers coming from diverse disciplines and able to show how – in their field - they challenge the status quo, they question the unquestionable. It will bring together leading and imaginative thinkers, leaders, humanists and scientists.

Denis Von der Weid taught economics at the Universidad nacional de Bogota in Colombia, the University of Fribourg in Switzerland, and at Indel in Zurich. He also taught at INSEAD, an international graduate business school and research institution in France. Several years ensued in the management of Sandoz, before returning to the field, in India. In 1984, he set up Antenna, as an association, as a network of lawyers – and as a supplier of clandestine radio transmitters to assist human rights activists in a number of countries. By 1989, the organisation had metamorphosed into Antenna Technologies to build up the role of scientific research in the struggle against extreme poverty.Organizing team
