About this event
We're looking at a new framing for global health. Not malaria and surviving childbirth, but what if.... what IF.... we had 7BN generally healthy whole people pulling for the advancement of the species and the planet? What could we accomplish?
Some topics:
Word matters: The Semantic Shifts needed for a Healthy Planet
Success stories: The MacGyver-esque world of Implementation Science- making Global Health work on the ground
Is Health in our Hands: Mobile platforms, Apps, Remote Diagnostics, Behavior change…. etc..
New voices: The Master's Apprentices (Nominations from brilliant TED speakers to their grad students, leading young thinkers)
"Long life in small family"- Socially engineering the "1st world"- Mexican Soap Operas and Chinese Policy- Outcome and Consideration
AND of course, the usual San Francisco FLAVA of art, music, spoken word, startup energy and belief that any frontier is possible.
