Ideas with the power to transform our environment. This is the proposal of TEDxMataAtlântica event held under license from the TED (www.ted.com) - an initiative to share learnings and experiences through innovative events and the spread online videos available about various topics. The motto is "ideas worth spreading", in others words, TED wants to inspire!

The event's goal is to stimulate the perception of people to share practices and care about our environment, increasing individual and collective ownership of citizens that Mata Atlântica Forest is in urban centers, from inspirational stories.

TEDxMataAtlântica will have the official support of the SOS Mata Atlântica Foundation, an organization dedicated to preservation of the remnants of the Atlantic since 1986 and UxChange, mobilization and collaboration platform for social change.

The event will be held on May 21, Saturday, at 12.30 at Ibirapuera Park (Av.Pedro Alvares Cabral - Moema, São Paulo, Brazil). The event takes place on a truck stage traveling and will be broadcast live on Internet.
