Theme: inTolerance
Tunis, Tunisia
September 25th, 2011
About this event
The main theme for this third edition will be "inTolerance".
Tunisia tends to be perceived as relatively homogeneous both by foreign observers as Tunisian. On the religious, linguistic, social, artistic plan... the Tunisian was subjected to a kind of format that had the effect of marginalizing more forms of original and creative expression.
Noting that the new sense of freedom experienced by Tunisia has provided an opportunity for groups or minorities to display their differences or beliefs, to accept or reject opposing views, the team TEDxCarthage intends to invite Speakers that will occur in areas that will be an inspiration to take advantage of this wealth that we ignored. Diversity in all its forms.
