Dr. Jayaprakash Narayan

widely known as JP, is the founder and president of Lok Satta Party and currently a Member of Legislative Assembly of Andhra Pradesh. He is also a former Indian public administrator, a social reformer and a columnist. He is currently touring 12 cities in United States on his "Rejuvenate India" campaign. As an Indian Administrative Service (IAS) public servant, he served for 16 years in various capacities including District Collector and Secretary to both the Governor and Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh. He quit IAS in 1996 to start Lok Satta Movement in Andhra Pradesh and Mumbai. This movement grew to 250,000 organizational members and achieved significant administrative and political reforms including constitutional amendments to eliminate defections, reduce the size of cabinet, Right to Information Act and disclosure of criminal records and assets by all candidates. He has also served in National Advisory Council, Vigilance Advisory Council and Second Administrative Reforms Commission constituted by Government of India. Lok Satta as a political party was launched in 2006.

Sujata Burla

is a TV anchor, woman entrepreneur as well as initiating her own NGO ... there are no full stops for Sujata Burla. With a story behind her that cannot be described briefly, Sujata can only be looked up to as a beauty with brains and an example to be emulated by everyone of us, not only as a successful businesswoman and a media personbut also as a person with a heart of gold lending a helping hand to orphans with disabilities ... indeed, living up to her organisation's tagline, "Life beyond imagination.”

Ravi Deshpande

is one of the most prominent creative leaders in the advertising world. As Chairman he is at the helm of Contract India. As Chief Creative Officer he has led the agency to win over 600 creative awards. He has been honoured as Creative Professional of the Year, twice as Art Director of The Year. And for ‘Outstanding Contribution to the Advertising Industry in India’. He has been on the jury of international awards such as Cannes, D&AD, The One Show, Adfest and Clio. He has crafted a theory “Grow Young” based on the belief that un-boxed ideas reverse the ageing process of brands making them younger and more desirable. He has been honoured as one of six living advertising legends in the last fifty years, in India. In his spare time paints, does photography and is working on a movie script.

Pradeep Kashyap

known as the father of rural marketing in India worked for 17 years with 3 MNCs before opting out to serve the poor. In 1993 he started MART as a transparent, team based, non-hierarchical, flat organization based on ethical and spiritual principles. MART has emerged as India’s leading rural consultancy organisation. He has been Marketing Advisor to Ministry of Rural Development and has served on Prime Minister Office and Chief Minister Committees on rural development. He is a World Bank and United Nations consultant. He is a recipient of the Jamna Lal Bajaj Award 1991 for his outstanding contribution to rural development. His marketing career spans 40 years. He is President, Rural Marketing Association of India.

Anu Acharya

is the Founder & CEO of Ocimum Biosolutions, a global genomics outsourcing partner for discovery, development and diagnostics. Founded about a decade ago, Ocimum Biosolutions, today, has a worldwide customer base of over 2000 and three international acquisitions to its credit. Ocimum has received several awards including "Fastest Growing Life Sciences Company in India", Red Herring Asia 100, "IT Innovation Award" by NASSCOM and has been named in the Deloitte list of Fastest Growing companies in Asia, for four years in a row.

Diyanat Ali

An IT manager by profession, explorer and adventurer by person, Diyanat Loves trekking and venturing into the wilderness. Diyanat founded the Great Hyderabad Adventure Club GHAC in May 2008. GHAC is a not for profit volunteer based group of nature and adventure lovers. It was lack of adventure clubs in the Hyderabad city that prompted Diyanat to start one and nurture it to become the largest and most active club in the city with over 500 adventure events and 4500 members on its list and growing. Diyanat was Senior under Officer in NCC Army wing and holds A, B and C Certificates. Diyanat used his learning of map reading, navigation and wilderness skills in NCC to take out GHAC members on trekking and the wilderness. Diyanat has also trained other volunteers to take up Trek organiser and other leadership roles at the club. The club presently has about 80 volunteer organisers who help organising different adventure events from trekking, rock climbing, bird watching, mountaineering, paragliding, scuba diving and wilderness survival. GHAC conducts about 50 events every month with more than 1000 members participating in it

Robert Fernandes

Mr. Robert experience spans for more than 30 years in the field of Landscape development in the corporate real estate sector. He has seen and experienced almost three decades of various landscape styles from the time landscape originated in India and as an accomplishment to development .Regarded as one of the foremost Landscape Horticulturist and noted authority on ecology and environmental issues. His landscape and environmental work includes not only the projects he has executed pan India, but also with the city planners of Mumbai, where “green in cities goes Skywards” and need solutions for sustainable urban development and design. He was also invited to speak on “Environment and the Urban Landscape”, organized by the CII Green Landscape Summit 2011.

Jaywant Naidu

Sri Jaywant Naidu started learning Hawaiian Guitar at the young age of eight years from Sri S.N. Mukherjee. He took further training from Sri DineshKumar Sampat of Mumbai. Jaywant completed his Sangeet Visharad from the Akhil Bharatiya Gandharva Mahavidyalaya, Miraj, in November 1991, under the guidance of Sri. B. Kishtaiah and Sri K. Jangaiah. His music has been broadcast on Radio Netherlands Music 52-15 channel. He is the first musician to perform North Indian Classical Music on Hawaiian Guitar at Penang -YTL Arts Festival and Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia and the Asthana Mandapam of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam. He is the Artistic Director for the album "Sugandh - Fragrance of Life".”.

Dr. P. Raghu Ram

Dr. P. Raghu Ram, a highly skilled Oncoplastic Breast Surgeon from Hyderabad (India) is amongst the very few in the World to have acquired the prestigious FRCS from all four Royal Colleges in British Isles – FRCS (England), FRCS (Edinburgh), FRCS (Glasgow) & FRCS (Ireland). Within a short span of time, he has made extraordinary contribution at empowering people in India about the importance of early detection of breast cancer through a number of unique & innovative initiatives. Equally, since 2007, he has been working with a missionary zeal at bringing about revolutionary changes to Breast healthcare in India.

Dr Chandrasekhar Hariharan

Hariharan is an economist turned eco-entrepreneur who has presided over projects on water, energy and green buildings since 1989. He is Chairman of Biodiversity Conservation India Ltd which has, since 1995, created many community-based, sustainably developed residential enclaves that have won global acclaim for representing the future of construction. He is also founder-trustee of ZED Foundation, an action research institution established in 2003 to promote ‘zero energy development’ practices. BCIL has won 6 awards from five nations in the last 3 years. He was the only Indian recipient of the prestigious ADB Water Champion award in 2006 among 9 Asians from 63 nations. He is a core committee member of the CII India Green Business Council and member of the National Advisory Council of the CII-ITC Centre of Excellence for Sustainable Development, and co-chairman of the IGBC Green Landscape Council. Over his long years, he has advised governments of Uttaranchal, Kerala and Nagaland on eco-conscious infrastructure and environment policies, apart from serving as consultant for water supply development for the Asian Development Bank.


Kamal is a lead actor from Telugu Film Industry. With a degree in architecture and passion for art and movies, kamal chose to begin his career in various departments as a writer, art director before professionally settling as an actor in telugu and tamil film industry. He is an ace photographer and an architect (one of his works includes the landscape for restaurant 'Moksh'). His serious inclination towards art has led him to continue practicing painting in various mediums. ranging from oil to charcoal on canvas. He loves the technique of pallette knife. He now wants to showcase his work at various Art platforms.

Haleem Khan

He is a dynamic young man bringing Kuchipudi, the classical dance form of Andhra Pradesh to TEDx Deccan. This MBA graduate was trained in Kuchipudi from a tender age and has given more than 300 performances in India and abroad. He has a number of excellent experimental choreographies to his credit. His creations reflect this philosophy. Relating to the contemporary while respecting old world values, being modern in outlook and conventional in thought has become a way of life for him.Through his dedication to the art and passion for what he believes in, Haleem Khan has broken the shackles of religion, language and creed setting an example to the Young India. True to the tradition of Kuchipudi, Haleem Khan dons the role of female characters, though occasionally, but whenever he does, he enriches the character with his graceful movements and feminine charm. It’s hard to tell when he dances as Satya Bhama that it is the same modern, jean clad young man who is no different from guys of his generation! As a male dancer his art is most vibrant while his vigour and vitality are unrestrained.


Dinaz spearheaded the fitness revolution in the Hyderabad standing against a tide of unorganized, ill-informed fitness studios and fly-by night operators offering miracle results with disastrous consequences. This revolution now has improved and inspired higher standards for fitness solutions that are available for the people of the twin cities. She envisioned a pro-health nation when she first began her career in 1993, 16 years back. Now- her dream is nearing a reality.The demand for her expertise in personal training, television fitness programs, social awareness campaigns like the 10 K run, the army and in the sports fraternity are also witnesses of her success as a fitness icon.

Jayesh Ranjan

Mr. Jayesh Ranjan is Secretary of Tourism Department of government of Andhra Pradesh. He is All-India topper of IAS batch of 1992. He holds Masters Degree in Psychology from Delhi University and Bachelors Degree in Business Management from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta. He has done international consultancy assignments for institutions like the World Bank and UN-ESCAP. He has been working in Hyderabad Urban Development Authority (HUDA) as Vice Chairman for 3 years. He has undertaken various rural assignments in different parts of the state for over 12 years, working in diverse sectors like Tribal Development, Natural Resources management, Poverty Alleviation and other related Social Sector Development. Jayesh Ranjan supports many social and charitable causes, and is on the Board of many organizations like APMAS, ML Jaisimha Sports Foundation, Hyderabad 10 K Foundation, Vijaya Foundation Trust, LSN Foundation, etc.

Porus Munshi

Porus Munshi is the best selling author of the book “Making Breakthrough Innovation Happen – How 11 Indians Pulled Off the Impossible”. The book focuses on the mindsets and thinking patterns and behaviors that differentiate people who make Quantum Impact Happen and has been receiving tremendous reviews with Outlook Business, The Pioneer, Business Today all calling it a ‘Must Read’. He is a postgraduate in psychology, a lifelong student of martial arts from karate to boxing to Tai Chi, and was the author of a widely read column for The Hindu Business line titled ‘Work and You’. Human performance, impossible dreams and causes, and taking on challenges fascinate him. In his role over the past several years as an executive coach and innovation facilitator working with organizations and individuals both in India and abroad, Porus is known as someone who releases and unblocks the innate potential of people, so that they begin to conceptualize, innovate and achieve what they previously believed to be impossible. He triggers and facilitates innovation missions as well as works with top leadership teams helping them make shifts at a mindset level. In the process often helps re-design people’s lives.

Williams Nkurunziza

He is the high commissioner for THE REPUBLIC OF RWANDA in India. Mr. Nkurunziza has held many leadership roles and was the first head of Rwanda Investment and Export Promotion Agency (RIEPA). RIEPA is now part of the Rwanda Development Board (RDB). Republic of Rwanda is a unitary republic of central and eastern Africa. The Tutsi-led Rwandan Patriotic Front (RPF) launched a civil war in 1990, which was followed by the 1994 Genocide, in which Hutu extremists killed an estimated 500,000 to 1 million Tutsis and moderate Hutus. The RPF ended the Genocide with a military victory.Rwanda's economy suffered heavily during the 1994 Genocide, but has since strengthened. Tourism is a fast-growing sector and is now the country's leading foreign exchange earner, the most popular activity being the tracking of mountain gorillas. Music and dance are an integral part of Rwandan culture.
