Foi distinguido em 2014 pelo MIT Technology Review como um dos 10 mais inovadores com menos de 35 anos. -------------------- Paulo Rodrigues created a “Google Maps for the Brain”. He co-founded Mint Labs in 2013, a tech company that specializes in the development of systems and analysis of maps of the human brain with the purpose of accelerating the development of the cure for neurological diseases such as Alzheimer's or Parkinson's. In 2014 he was named by the MIT Technology Review as one of the top ten innovators under 35 years old.

This center is especially prepared to intervene in critical situations, emergencies and catastrophes. Situations of life and death – unequivocal and absolute truths – but also in enigmatic situations, by those who live on the dark side of society and hide in the midst of the crowd.

O mais recente desafio foi na Síria, de onde acabou de chegar antes desta talk. Foi a primeira repórter mulher e a primeira jornalista portuguesa a fazer a cobertura da Guerra no Leste da Ucrânia. Atualmente trabalha na RTP no Programa de Investigação “Sexta às 9” e como freelancer em diferentes órgãos de comunicação social internacionais. ------------------ Soraia Ramos is a journalist. She reported at the microphones of the most relevant Portuguese mainstream media and has worked in 82 countries! The most recent challenge was in Syria, from where she had just arrived before giving this talk. Currently she works at RTP in the program of investigative journalism 'Friday at 9' and as a freelancer in various international media outlets.

Tiago Reis Marques é médico psiquiatra no Maudsley Hospital e investigador e docente no Instituto de Psiquiatria, Psicologia e Neurociências do King's College de Londres, onde utiliza atualmente a técnica de Tomografia de Emissão de Positrões (PET) para compreender a inflamação cerebral, a descoberta de novos alvos terapêuticos e o efeito das drogas no cérebro. Recentemente tem vindo a explorar o efeito de variáveis ambientais, tais como o exercício e a alimentação, no funcionamento cerebral. ------------------ Tiago Reis Marques is a medical psychiatrist at the Maudsley Hospital and researcher and professor at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience, of the King's College in London, where he uses Positron Emission Tomography (PET) to peer into brain inflamation, the discovery of new therapeutic targets and the effects of drugs on the brain. Recently he has been exploring the effect of environmental variables such as exercise and food in the brain.

Since 2014 she has been living in Istanbul, Turkey, following up close the biggest refugee crisis ever and following the refugee trail from the Turkish coast to Greece, across the Balkans into central Europe.
