The aim of TEDxWestminster is to live stream the opening of TEDWomen in Washington DC. TEDWomen will be a conference with various prominent speakers and will be on for two days.
TEDxWestminster is going to be held on the first day, Tuesday, 7th December 2010 and it will offer the opportunity for the audience in London to join the conversation in Washington DC.

TEDxWestminster will be held in a central London location known as Hub Culture.
Hub Culture is a socially operated movement using networks to create and distribute value for members. Over 20,000 global urban influentials are connected, giving the network far reaching ability to build worth.

The audience should expect an interesting evening with a relaxed atmosphere.

The main topic of the conference in Washington and the event in London will be the role of women within our society.Therefore, the discussions will be mainly, but not necessarily, focusing on that topic.

TEDxLive is a new extension of the TEDx program, launched by TED in 2010. TEDxLive events are built around the live webcast of the TED Conference. Instead of featuring local speakers or pre-recorded TEDtalk video, TEDxLive events enable TED enthusiasts all over the world to experience all 5 sessions of TEDWomen – 25+ live speakers, performers, tech demos and more over the span of 2 days.

TEDWomen will take place on December 7th and 8th.TEDWomen will reveal: Who are the women leading change? What ideas are they championing? And how will they shape the future? TEDWomen will also reveal women and men in concert with one another, orchestrating different but complementary approaches to ideas worth spreading.
