TEDxSMU, the day-long event dedicated to ideas worth spreading, is back for a sixth year on Saturday, November 1st. “Strangely Familiar” is the theme for this year’s conversations and our speakers and performers are ready to take us on an adventure into the unknown. Topics will intersect where the strange meets the familiar; familiar subjects will be viewed with a different lens and strange ideas will be made relatable. Our journey will include music and dance, robots and big data. We will travel to prisons in Africa then back to the super-bugs in our own backyard.
Returning to Dallas City Performance Hall the program begins at 9 a.m. and runs until 6 p.m., with a light breakfast, lunch and plenty of breaks for conversation included. Admission also includes access to the great conversations that happen between speakers and attendees at the “after party.”
Join us and be a part of the conversation.
