TEDxAveiroLive was held in Pizzarte, the oldest pizzeria in Aveiro, Portugal around the webcast of TED2012.
They held brainstorms to further extend the ideas presented at TED to their own community, and created three boards with post-its for attendees to write on, focused on: "the Earth", "the Crowd" and "the City."

TEDxBaghdad

Following the first-ever TEDxBaghdad, held in December, 2011, TEDxBaghdad held a webcast event around TED 2012 in Iraq's only 3D cinema.
At 9:00 AM, only a few people had shown up, but a few hours later, the venue was packed full: the streets had to be closed down because of numerous car-bomb threats. Many attendees left their cars and walked one and a half hours just to be able to watch the live simulcast.

TEDxKrakowLive

TEDxKrakow held their webcast event in a 600-year-old cellar turned modern bar in the center of Krakow.
Because of the time difference between Long Beach and Krakow, their event began at 5:30 PM and went long into the night. Far from being tired, the attendees and organizers left excited and encouraged, inspired to get Krakow involved in the 2012 TED Prize: City 2.0.
