Ao trabalhar com crianças que têm problemas em falar, Ajit Narayanan imaginou uma forma de pensar a linguagem através de imagens, de relacionar palavras e conceitos em "mapas". A ideia agora alimenta uma aplicação informática que ajuda pessoas não verbais a comunicar e a grande ideia por detrás disso, um conceito de linguagem chamado FreeSpeech ("Expressão Livre"), tem um potencial excitante.
