Aryana Patel

Junior at Clear Lake High School
Aryana Patel is a junior at Clear Lake High School. As a second generation Indian immigrant, she is passionate about cultural awareness and believes that cultural identity play a large part of who she is today. She is president of her school's Indian culture club and has been learning classical Indian dancing for the past 9 years. Reflecting on the differences between her father and her with growing up in America, she drew interest in exploring the relationship between upholding culture in a western society. She is passionate about reconnecting youth with their heritage and promoting diversity.

Livia Woolery

Junior at Clear Lake High School
Livia Woolery is a junior at Clear Lake High School. She is a competitive swimmer, business owner, photographer, researcher, Sports executive for a Hockey team, and loves to talk. She is an expert in the field of navigating expectations and enjoys exploring the intersection of psychology and human performance.

Melanie Rodriguez

Senior at Clear Lake High School
A senior at Clear Lake High School, Melanie enjoys volunteering. Volunteering at her church, she says, has always been the same until one day a mute kid showed up in her class. Learning how to communicate with him has inspired her to research to learn more about mute and deaf people. By uncovering the struggles and frustration she's able to gain a better understanding and a deeper capacity of patience.

Melina Kumar

Junior at Clear Lake High School
Melina is currently a junior at Clear Lake High School. She has had a strong passion for science and medicine starting at a very young age. Melina has compete in the Science and Engineering Fair for 12 years now at various levels, including Internationals. In the year of 2023, Melina competed at the International Science Fair where she presented her research shown within this speech.

Raneem Ghadai

Sophomore at Clear Lake High School
Raneem Ghadai is a sophomore at Clear Lake High School with a passion for helping her community and leading by example. In the future, she dreams of travelling the world and learning about new cultures. Around three years ago, Raneem moved from Canada to Houston, Texas during the pandemic. Not only was the weather a shock, but restarting her life here proved to be a big challenge. However, Raneem believes that what she learned about change during this time is priceless, an idea that she shares in her speech.

Samantha Hutt

Junior at Clear Lake High School
Samantha is a dedicated member of several different originations in and out of school. She is an aspiring researcher with a passion for music. Today she is actively working to combat academic prejudice toward students with learning disabilities. Later in life she hopes to get a degree in Physics and Mechanical engineering and work at NASA.

Savannah Wilson

Junior at Clear Lake High School
I am an Early College student attending the University of Alabama, and Savannah is a junior in high school AND an early college attendee, majoring Criminology. She is a local Miss America titleholder, currently serving as Miss Park Cities' Teen. She is an advocate, and this past year has traveled over 15,000 miles across the state of Texas to serve. She is a current pilot student.

Yuxi Jin

Sophomore at Clear Lake High School
Yuxi is a current sophomore of Clear Lake High School and she also belongs to the new Generation Z. She enjoys learning about history and laws. Museums have huge impact in her life and she studied on the topic of the determining factors of museum preservation and artifact conservations for her AP Seminar paper this year.

Zayan Hasan

Senior at Clear Lake High School
Throughout his high school career, Zayan has been involved in organizations in his community is extensive and diverse from Orchestra, church food bank and model UN as a few examples. Model Un in particular is why he is giving this Ted Talk as it is there that he experienced the need of diplomacy to solve global problems. He won Best Delegate at the Houston Model UN Conference.
