In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

In society at these times, we are constantly encumbered by our financial states. We are constantly in search for prosperity and money through countless days of working and intensive labour. We constantly ignore the much needed attention for our loved ones for we are always taking time to find the opportunity for further lavish. I believe that in order for society and for us human beings to live in a world that is not always black-and-white but rather of warmth and color we must balance our workload with time to care for our loved ones. There is a Thai term, " บุญคุณ ", which roughly translates to giving the kindness back to ones who bring kindness to us. I believe this ideal should be engraved in our heads for the pursuit of labour over loved ones in hopes of future prosperity, might diminish the hope altogether.

The life of a student in our current world is extremely chaotic and filled to the brim with activities. Taking too many of these activities or doing too many things at once actually hinders the true progress a student can make due to diverted focus. Additionally, this form of overcommitment can end up being harmful, often causing mental health problems and burnout for students worldwide leading to increased rates of suicide. I'm going to be addressing this problem in my speech while also providing some solutions: setting priorities and utilizing proper time management. The main idea of my speech is how prioritizing the activities you actually like is more productive than spreading yourself across too many commitments. Giving full dedication and focus is what leads to success in that thing in the first place. Balancing our time properly is what leads to actual progress being made, not cramming everything into an already busy schedule.

We blindly follow our desire to be liked and seen as perfect on social media that we completely forget to check in with our real self, our real life.

As I am born into an Asian family, we are expected to get straight A's, know how to cook rice, play the piano, and most importantly have bragging rights for your parents over other cousins. Well I can almost tick all the boxes except the cooking rice one. For me, my main passion is motorsports. Most of you guys think it's just driving around in circles which is kind of true. Most of you may wonder who I am? Well, I am Ryo Ketsiri, a of course, asian! other than that I am a national and vice Asian semi professional racing driver so I expect myself to know a little bit about racing. But enough about my excellent and extremely fascinating racing career that I like to yap and brag about lets talk about finding the balance between my tight racing schedule with my school life.

because you express yourself differently when you are with other people and if you do not balance that properly with your true self within, it can become exhausting for you to thrive in society and be your happiest self.
