In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Maaz Ahmad

Dr Maaz Ahmed, Department Head Community Medicine at the Rashid Latif Khan university. He has served as the Dean of the Institute of Public Health. He is a trail blazer in research work, and has published over 75 international researches. He has helped blur the lines between local treatments and pharmaceutical medicine to provide a more holistic approach to patients’ healthcare.

Nashi Khan

For over 40 years, Dr. Khan has been a trailblazer in Mental Healthcare. She is the sole Chartered Clinical Psychologist recognised by the British Psychological Society in Pakistan, Her work has not only transformed the field in Pakistan, but also impacted countless lives worldwide. Dr. Khan's passion for understanding the complexities of mental health is truly inspiring. Dr. Khan currently serves as the Director Academics at Rashid Latif Khan University (RLKU) & is Elected President, Pakistan Association of Clinical Psychologists.

Sabahat Khan

Ms. Sabahat Khan worked as a speech and language therapist at Mayo General Hospital for six months after which, she set up her private practice in Hameed Latif Hospital and worked for various schools in Lahore as a consultant speech and language therapist. She has been a member of the visiting faculty at Punjab University and Punjab Institute for Teacher Training. Over the years she has been involved in designing, running, and teaching several certificate courses for special education of teachers and therapists. She is a director and part of the Administration team at Hameed Latif Hospital, one of the fastest-growing private hospitals in Lahore [established in 1992 with 20 (twenty) beds and has now grown into a 250 (two hundred fifty) bedded hospital]. In 2003, she founded the company Med-Plus that owns and runs a chain of hospital Pharmacies in Lahore. In 2009 she was appointed as Project Director of R L K Associates to set up Rashid Latif Medical College and Arif Memorial Hospital. Both these projects were completed within one year; from the purchase of Land to completion of 200,000 squares feet of construction to recognition by PMDC and UHS. Presently, she is the acting CEO of Rashid Latif Medical College and Arif Memorial Hospital and a member of the management team of all upcoming projects.

Sarah Qureshi

Dr. Sarah Qureshi is a jet engine inventor, an aerospace engineer and a hobby pilot. She has a PhD degree in Aerospace Propulsion Engineering from Cranfield University, UK. She is the co-founder and CEO of Aero Engine Craft Private Limited, Pakistan’s first commercial jet engine R&D Company developing eco-friendly, contrail-free aircraft engines for the global aviation industry. Her company, that she has setup with her father, is the first of its kind in the world developing a contrail mitigation hardware technology to bring about a revolution in air travel. Her company has also indigenously developed the first jet engine of Pakistan. Sarah is considered to be a trailblazer for women in STEM and an inspiration for women leaders in Aerospace around the globe.
