In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Over time, she's gravitated towards exploring controversial topics, including abortion, artificial intelligence applications, and FDA corruption. Annie has contributed articles on these subjects to various STEM blogs and magazines, showcasing her dedication to fostering dialogue. She also actively engages in discussions and debates with friends, valuing diverse perspectives. These topics have become a central focus of her intellectual curiosity, and she hopes to extend her passion to her school community.

Jenny Wu is an eager and passionate sophomore who studies at Hsinchu County American School (HCAS) in Taiwan. During her free time, she enjoys immersing herself in a good book saved from Goodreads, watching movies or shows on Netflix, strumming her guitar while writing or singing songs, starting a new page of her novel, reading a random psychology article online, or engaging in any STEM-related activities or competitions. An extrovert with many passions, she also serves as a writer for The Teen Magazine and a Chair for multiple MUN conferences in Taiwan. Jenny loves to have a nice meal and enjoys getting a good night's sleep.
