In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Qing Zhao is a passionate school librarian at Dulwich International High School Suzhou. She received distinction from University of Lincoln, UK for her Masters Degree in Strategic Marketing and is pursing Masters degree in Library and Inform Science with San Jose State University, US. Apart from managing a busy library, she organized cross cultural literary festival for year 10 students and trained group of students who are lack of confidence to deliver public speaking to large audients to successfully deliver welcome speech to 150 new students in Oct 2019 and 2020, At her spare time, she likes writing, playing netball and traveling around.
