David is a career diplomat and the French Ambassador to Sweden since June 2017. He has been the Adviser to the French President for North Africa and Middle East and held several diplomatic assignments, including Iran and the United States.
His main professional interests are geopolitics and the power relations of the future. He is also fascinated by the impact of emerging and new technologies on diplomacy.
Greta is a 15-year-old Stockholm native who lives at home with her parents and sister Beata. She’s a 9th grader in Stockholm who enjoys spending her spare time riding Icelandic horses, spending time with her families two dogs, Moses and Roxy. Michael’s life is set in the crossover area between Arts and Science. A self-proclaimed “serial fire-starter”, Michael was responsible for launching Sweden’s first International Music Festival and later went on to found the Stockholm branch of Coder Dojo. Since its opening in 2013, Coder Dojo has taught the art of computer programming to over 2,500 kids and counting. Today, Michael runs his own web development company in Sweden.
Omar is a survivor. An inspiration. And an epicurean in the truest meaning. Born and raised in Syria, life eventually led Omar to Stockholm.
His mission in life is to address the cruelties committed in the world and to share the optimism and willpower of the human spirit that remains even through hard times. Omar’s story gives a new perspective on going to prison, not for crimes committed but for being at the wrong place at the wrong time and with the wrong name.
Ryan Roxie is an American guitarist, singer/songwriter living in Stockholm Sweden. He is best known as a Solo Artist and for his guitar work with Alice Cooper, Casablanca and Slash's Snakepit.
Shohini is a writer, debater and a speaker. Recently she has been focusing on the socio-economic contracts that shape our modern world. Her writings have appeared in Forbes, the Huffington Post, and the New York Times.
Shohini is currently doing her PhD in finance at the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business. She currently serves on the board of the Telluride Association, an educational non-profit with a mission to providing young people with free educational programs emphasizing intellectual curiosity, democratic self-governance, and social responsibility.
Ulf is an experienced business writer and former editor-in-chief of Veckans Affärer, one of Sweden’s leading business magazines. Today he runs his own company as an editorial curator and is guided by his insatiable curiosity. This has led him to every day having lunch with a new person, and learning about how they make the world a better place.
