This year, members of the public can virtually “attend” part of the exciting TED Conference through the independently produced TEDxWoodsHoleLive event, which will live stream one day of the conference to Woods Hole.
Attendees at TEDxWoodsHoleLive will view a stellar roster of TED2011 speakers, including Microsoft founder Bill Gates, acclaimed Broadway producer Julie Taymor, and deep sea biologist Edith Widder, among many others. TED is acclaimed for presenting a unique blend of thought leaders and world-renowned performers. TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience.
TEDxWoodsHoleLive is free and open to the public, and no reservations will be taken. Attendees may come and go as they wish. Limited daytime parking will be available in the grass parking lot on Bar Neck Road, Woods Hole, and metered parking is available on Water Street. A limited amount of on-street parking will be available for the evening presentation.
