Biologist
Bryson Voirin is a wildlife neuroscientist at the Max Planck Society in Germany, a conservation drone researcher at the California Academy of Sciences, and a freelance TV presenter. His passion for science and the natural world began at a young age. Growing up in Florida, he spent his early years "exploring" the forests, fields, and backyards around his house. Upon moving to Germany during high school, Bryson's exposure to new and foreign ecosystems strengthened his interest in the outdoor, leading him to pursue environmental and biological research in numerous countries during university. Both an Udall and Fulbright Scholar, Bryson's scientific research and conservation work has been published in peer-reviewed journals, featured in international newspapers and magazines, and covered on television programs from around the world.

Carlos Jasso's career as a photojournalist started in 2003 in Mexico. In 2005 Carlos moved to London working for a local news agency, National, and then worked for the Independent Newspaper and Bloomberg. In 2009 Carlos moved back to Mexico as a freelance for Associate Press to cover the war on drugs and general news in Guadalajara (2009-2010) and Monterrey (2010-2011). In 2011, Carlos joined Reuters as a stringer in Mexico and then Panama. In Panama, Carlos covers domestic and international news, sports and stand-alone photo stories.

Natalia Donner’s research focuses on understanding how pottery making traditions develop, change, and continue through time. As a PhD candidate at Leiden University (The Netherlands), she is studying ancient pottery practices in Chontales, Nicaragua (Central America).
Born in Argentina, and educated in the Mexican Archaeology tradition, Natalia has followed her passion for clay, but also considered her profession meaningless without dedicating time to teach in schools, coach educators in how to approach science in an engaging way, create connections between scientific research projects and the local communities involved, develop learning materials, apart from conducting archaeological explorations and excavations.

A blogger and founder of the Verde y Rebelde movement, Rebecca is passionate about inspiring and helping others change their lifestyles through food and developing healthy habits. Originally from Colombia, is an entrepreneur with over 30 years of experience in television, publishing, marketing, and technology. A graduate of Wellesley College and Stanford University, Tania led the creation, production, and marketing of a live action children's television program entitled "The Adventures of Juana la Iguana," which aired in 14 countries including the U.S and Mexico. After a 15-year hiatus, Tania relaunched Juana la Iguana in the digital world through educational apps in both iOS and Android, and a YouTube Channel animated Spanish songs. The app "Juana la Iguana en la Granja" is a 2016 Parent's Choice Recommended App and Juana la Iguana was picked as the winner of People's Pick Vote in the Miami Herald business Challenge and third Place winner in the Challenge community track. It also won the First Place of Fan's Vote in the Hispanicize Latin Pitch and Third Place winner in the overall competition.
