TEDxYouth@Singleton is a half-day event curated by Singleton Council, hosted in the Singleton Youth Venue. Our goal is to bring together young, bright minds to give talks that are idea-focused, and on a wide range of subjects, to foster learning, inspiration and wonder – and provoke conversations that matter.

Annie Nichols

21 year old from Lower Belford. Currently in fourth year of a physiotherapy degree at the University of Newcastle, with an interest in rural and remote health and sustaining rural communities. 2015 Singleton Young Achiever of the Year.

Chris Le Page

20 years old, University of Newcastle Creative and Performing Arts and Sociology Major. Recently finished the Australian Air Force Cadet as the rank of a Cadet Warrant Officer.

Jackson Upcroft

17 year old Performer and writer of music for the past five years, mostly in electronic and orchestral styles, with bass guitar being his main instrument. Jackson has been performing on his Launchpad for the last two years and has previously performed at the Singleton Youth venue multiple times on it and the bass.

Jessie Stringer

22 year old from Sydney, Live Music Coordinator at the Red Rattler Theatre, and Love + Rent Bookings.
