In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

The Shuffle Show

‘The Shuffle Show’ is the brainchild of Australian musical comedians Grant Busé and Elena Gabrielle. Drawing inspiration from your favourite and most embarrassing iTunes playlists, The Shuffle Show is a parody of the Apple Store wrapped around an epic musical mash-up marathon of 1000 songs in 1 hour! Debuting at Melbourne international Comedy Festival in 2014, The show has since toured Australia to sold out shows and critical acclaim. Using tech giant Apple as the platform for its social satire, The Shuffle Show echoes society’s diminishing attention span, insatiable appetite for information and the ever changing face of technology.
