TEDxGuangzhou is a localized TED event in Guangzhou, a city famous for its over 2000 years of history and as among the first cities to open up to the rest of the world in China.

The theme for the TEDxGuangzhou conference in 2011 is "Hack the Game". We want to explore the hidden matrix of hacking and creativity through storytelling at the event. Some 16 speakers from cross disciplines are invited to give talks of their life on things that they care about.

It was amazing to see all these different people come and share their insights on things that matter, from social enterprise to folk music, from co-working spaces to hackerspaces, from traveling to meditating, all the talks present a world that is less featured in mainstream media, yet more desirable for living.

We are very proud to see these local voices getting heard at TEDxGuangzhou. Still more amazing, we see that people among the audience got deep resonance with many of the talks, as they were retweeting the talks on live blogging. Many people said, this is the most inspirational event they've been to. And we were most humble to hear that.

Rock on. Let's hack the game and create a bright green future, one TEDx talk at a time :)
