On June 20, 2014 proactive students and young Ukrainian professionals held its very first TEDxYouth@Kyiv event.
The topic of the conference - ‘Rethink. Reboot. Restart’ - built on the idea of positive change, while speakers told and demonstrated how one can live, create, make scientific discoveries and fulfill their dreams in Ukraine.
Among the speakers of the conference there have been Paralympics’ champions (Olena Iurkovska), talented designers (Egor Petrov), aspiring scientists (Evgen Artemonov), media start-uppers (Sevgil Musaeva), progressive social entrepreneurs (Andriy Pelukhovskiy) and many other talented representatives of Ukrainian youth.
TEDxYouth@Kyiv has sparked significant attention among mass media, student communities as well as international companies operating in Ukraine and providing internship opportunities for the prospective graduates. Being motivated by the huge success of the event, organizers decided to hold the conference on the annual basis.
