After running into a setback as a surgeon and the limitation of medicine, Taku Miyake altered his life as a doctor. He began medical care for incurable patients with prescriptions using the iPad and iPhone, which evolved into a creation of space. Although the space is designed as a support facility for the visually impaired, steps are used where walls shift, eliminating brail blocks and handrails. What was his true intention to order the architectural design that denied the norm of the medical facility? After treating each patient for years, he came up with a method to break down common sense. What is his contrary idea to eradicate the info-impaired and to create a space that fosters enriching life?
