The global water crisis is a crisis of governance, and therein lies the opportunity. It is by fixing the people and the organizations that fix the pipes, and the policy environment that influences their decisions, that we can turn the situation around and ensure that the 780 million people in the world who do not have access to clean water, will do so for the first time. Nick Tandi argues that that public private partnerships are key to addressing this injustice. To make the water value chain work, we first need to make the connections between individuals and organisations in the value chain healthy.
