菊地 夏美： 映画を届けることは、途上国の子どもたちが限られた世界から抜け出す夢の種まきになる 途上国の子どもたちに将来なりたいものを聞くと、ほとんどの子どもたちが「学校の先生」か「お医者さん」と答える。それは身近にいる大人からしかイメージすることができないからだ。 菊地は、映画を届けることで世界を知らない子どもたちが、様々な生き方があることや、世界が広いということを知り、夢や希望、生きる目的を感じでくれると確信して、活動を続けている。 KIKUCHI Natsumi : To deliver movies means to sow the seeds of dreams for children in developing countries to get out of the limited world When she asks children in developing countries what they want to become in the future, most of them say school teacher or doctor because they can only imagine what they would like to be like from adults who are close to them. KIKUCHI Natsumi engages in activities believing that children ignorant of the world come to know there are various ways of life and the world is wide, and that they will have dreams,hopes, and purpose for living by delivering movies.
