Memento Mori is a community project founded by Marcus Manh Cuong Vu, which aims to spread life inspiration to those who are afflicted by cancer. The project arranged plays that depict stories of cancer patients from the book "The Destination of Life" written by Dang Hoang Giang. The most noteworthy fact is that almost all actors involved in this work are also cancer patients or else their family members’ - reflecting real emotions that touch the deepest portion of our soul.
Marcus held a belief that for any projects, if there is a need to entail involvement on the whole community, there must be a starting point for each person to grasp the core values of those plans. At the same time, it is necessary to keep in mind that the projects are for the sake of our community: " Putting the ego aside doesn’t mean that we allow it to sink into oblivion. Instead, standing in a circle and holding each other’s hands will grant each person lifetime standing and strengths.”
