How Local Community Institutions Can Create Prosperity for Minority Communities

When considering the possibility of contracting with minority and women-owned businesses, large organizations often cite that there is little capacity from minority communities to service their contracts. Our empirical experience proves otherwise and that where the groundbreaking change can and should happen is at the level of senior leadership with an aspirational vision and at a policy level changing incentives for purchasing officials.
