Radiotherapy is still one of the standard therapies for cancer treatment. But a growing number of patients are afraid of undergoing the treatment. What if we could eliminate the damaging side effects? asks Sara Espinoza. In her talk, she presents the results of her research on nanoparticles in cancer therapy, which she works on in cooperation with Harvard Medical School. Sara Espinoza came from Ecuador to Germany. Her vision is to provide treatment that will be efficient and affordable for people in poorer countries around the world. She just finished her PhD at the department of Chemical Engineering at Muenster Technical University.
