When it comes to parenting, why is it so hard for a mom to always be the bigger person? And how come our kids often evoke such childlike feelings in us? These are just some of the questions Andy Cohen addresses by taking us on a journey deep into the mind of a mother. Here she investigates the invisible forces that operate between mother and child, and the secret internal spaces where kids run riot and normal rules don’t apply. Andy Cohen is an artist, writer and art counselor, currently training to become a psychoanalyst. She is deeply passionate about creativity and self-repair and works therapeutically with a wide range of groups and individuals using art and/or dialogue as treatment. Andy also writes for a range of parenting hubs with a strong focus on "psychoanalytic ideas made simple" in order to empower families to live fuller, more integrated lives.
