Aishling Muller is a visual artist and holistic therapist from Ireland living in Iceland. She has been a practicing artist since 2007 with a BA in audio/visual media and an MA in art in the digital world. She has often been found designing and implementing creative workshops and community arts projects in both Ireland & Iceland, guiding people to discover their own creative process through video and photographic media.
Should more of us be considering artistic expression as a way to cope with and enjoy life? In her talk at TEDxReykjavík, Aishling challenges us to rethink the role of art in our world and our own lives. Art should not only be for artists, it should be for everyone to enjoy and participate in. Aishling explores the role of creative expression in life and argues that we should all consider picking up a creative avenue to voice ourselves.
