  • RJ Khurafati Nitin
    Jonathan Nitin Brady aka 'Khurafati Nitin' or 'Ulta Pulta Nitin' may have won the hearts of Delhites with his humour, philanthropy, and characteristic 'Down to Earth' candour, but he thinks this is just the start. He started his radio career in 1999 and is now with Hindustan Times'Fever 104FM. Khurafati Nitin is the most awarded Radio Jockey of India, having won the Prestigious RAPA award, Promaxx Award, Parranshree, Media Federation of India award for the Best Radio Jockey of India for two consecutive years, and 'The Indian Achiever's Award for the best Radio Jockey of India'. ​It was Khurafati Nitin's long awaited dream to start an organization which would showcase the talent of people from all over India, and would give them a platform to fulfill their dreams. Khurafati Nitin has launched "Khurafati Nitin Pvt Ltd", which showcases talent through Stage productions, Musicals, Short Films and soon television serials and Commercial Feature Films. Such is "Khurafati Nitin's" passion for the arts that his production house 'Khurafati Nitin Pvt Ltd' has trained many an individual in dance and theatre, free of cost.His first short film 'Smile You're Dead' which adresses the problem of drug abuse, has been screened at prestigious film festivals.

    "Entrepreneurs can be trained" Amit Grover an IIT-IIM alumnus is an individual passionate about entrepreneurship. He has worked with Infosys, Asian Paints and Onida, before starting Nurture Talent Academy, India’s 1st institute for training entrepreneurs. Started in January, 2010, with the objective of training and mentoring startups, students and professionals, it has already conducted 235 workshops, across 80 cities attended by over 14000 participants. The objective is to enable 1000 ventures to start in next 3-5 years, which will generate 20000 jobs. Nurture Talent Academy conducts a unique “Idea to Execution” workshop for students. During the workshop, students learn fundamentals of business, how to generate ideas, how to create business plans, and also angel investments and venture capital. Amit is also a member of Mumbai Angels, India’s premier group of angel investors, where he has led over 20 early stage deals in past 4 years.

He is founding member and Vice President Asia GSD, Harvard University, USA. He has also worked with leading architectural firms in USA and France on Public Buildings as well as Commercial Development Projects. His firm CP Kukreja Associates is one of the largest architectural and engineering firms in India and ranked amongst top 100 in the world. The firm has had the unique distinction of being selected as Best Architects in India on three different occasions last year itself.

  • Aman Nath
    Aman Nath is an Indian writer, hotelier, and architectural restorer. He is the co-founder and co-chairman of Neemrana Hotels the chain. Aman Nath the youngest founder member of INTACH was also the curator of Art Today, the contemporary art gallery of India Today for seven years where he had earlier looked after the arts pages of the magazine. Actively involved in the restoration of India’s lesser-known architectural ruins, he is the co-founder of the Neemrana ‘non-hotel’ Hotels, which were nominated in 2004 for the Aga Khan Award, and have won awards from Unesco, the Indian travel trade industry, as well as National Awards from the Government of India. The word ‘Neemranification’ has now come to symbolise a viable and sustainable heritage tourism involving the local communities so that their rural pride resurges to win the battle to counter migration to urban slums. Aman Nath is an inveterate traveller and has contributed to several travel magazines: after walking 400 kms to Mount Kailash in Tibet; to a hidden monastery between Rohtang and Leh; or to the sub-Antartic in an ice breaker, just after the film Titanic was released!
  • Geeta Chandran
    A celebrated artist and a star-performer, GeetaChandran is synonymous with the Indian classical dance: Bharatanatyam. She began learning Bharatanatyam from the tender age of 5 years under the tutelage of Smt. SwarnaSaraswathy, who hailed from the traditional Thanjavoordevadasiparampara. Today she is a renowned artist who has synthesised the knowledge she received from her Gurus to imprint Bharatanatyam with her personal vision of the dance. In her dance presentations GeetaChandran skilfully weaves abstract notions of Joy, Beauty, Values, Aspirations, Myth and Spirituality. ​Founder-President of Natya-Vriksha, an organization devoted to promoting Bharatanatyam, Geeta has evolved a holistic style of teaching the classical dance which engages young learners. She has presented the arangetrams (debut performance) of 30 senior disciples who continue their training under her and she continues to mentor over one hundred disciples; several of her students have blossomed as full-fledged performers. In recognition of her vast and varied contribution to Bharatanatyam, Geeta was awarded the prestigious national award -- the Padma Shri -- by the President of India in 2007.
  • Shilpa Shukla
    Shilpa Shukla, the film, television and theatre actress. Shilpa began her career with Maharaj Krishna Raina, the renowned theatre artist. Later on she also worked with Arvind Gaur, the director of the Asmita Theatre Group. Some of her notable plays are ‘Final Solutions and Tara’ by Mahesh Dattani, ‘Antim Diwas’ by Govind Deshpande, ‘Ek Mamooli Aadmi’ by Ashok Lal, ‘Log-Baag’ by Neil Simon and ‘Rakt Kalyan’ by Girish Karnad. ​Her very first film in the industry was Sabiha Sumar’s 2003 flick titled ‘Khamosh Pani’, starring Shilpa Shukla along with Kiron Kher and Aamir Malik. Same year she had also signed up for Sudhir Mishra’s film ‘Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi’, starring Chitrangada Singh, Kay Kay Menon, Ram Kapoor, Saurabh Shukla, Shiney Ahuja and Shilpa Shukla herself. Next up she received a considerable amount of recognition from the Shahrukh Khan starrer ‘Chak De India’ (2007), where she portrayed the stubborn and arrogant role of a hockey player by the name of Bindia Naik. She earned a Filmfare nomination as well as a National Film award consideration, for her role in this film. Her recent film B.A.Pass directed by debutant director Ajay Bahl , won the best film Audience Choice Award at the South Asian Alternative Film Festival (SAAFF) in Paris, France.In 2012, the film was named the Best Film in Indian Competition at the 12th Osian’s Cinefan Film Festival.
  • Sehba Imam
    "I wanted to walk, but the areas I wanted to explore were not safe to walk through alone… So I decided to get Gurgaon to walk with me!" Sehba Imam is the reason behind Let's Walk Gurgaon; Let's Walk Gurgaon or LWG in short is for walking enthusiasts in Gurgaon. The walkers meet every Saturday at the crack of dawn with the sole purpose of chasing the sunrise through the green areas of Aravalli. The group which started with four walkers in June 2010 is now 3000 strong on Facebook and is never short of walkers for fun or a cause. From a mere hobby group, LWG has evolved into a close knit community that has taken up many social and charitble causes in and around Gurgaon. They walk for fun, for health, for togetherness and to cover the distances that divide urban and rural Gurgaon. ​ The walks through the foothills of Aravallis are full of surprises - natural watering holes and ponds, a variety of trees, wildlife sightings, close encounters with unusual insect habitats, a chance to swing like a monkey from a great banyan tree, a walk through shrubs that spread their fragrance as you crush them under your feet - And all of this is tucked away just a ten minute drive from the frenzied life of our Millinium city. Sehba has a masters degree in Mass Communication and free lances as a script writer and lyricist. She has written scripts for many television shows and documentaries. She was the Head Writer for Galli Galli Sim Sim - the Indian version of the international children's show Sesame Street. She wrote political and social satire for The Great Indian Tamasha and Gustakhi Maaf on NDTV. She was also the writer for a season of It Happens Only In India. Currently Sehba is involved with Nazar Ya Nazariya – A television series on DD National which brings the struggles and triumphs of visually challenged exceptional achievers in various fields. The show features Naseeruddin Shah and Harsh Chaya as anchors.
  • Aruna Jayanthi
    Aruna Jayanthi is the Chief Executive Officer of Capgemini India. Capgemini India is one of the biggest business units of Capgemini group. Aruna oversees the operations across all the business units – Consulting, Technology services and Outsourcing services in India with a focus to increase the integration and performance of over 40,000 growing employee base. Prior to assuming this role in January 2011, Aruna was the Global Delivery Officer for Capgemini Outsourcing, where she improved quality, productivity and profitability of Capgemini’s outsourcing operations worldwide. Aruna has over 2 decades experience in the IT services industry and has worked in both multinationals and pure-play companies.   • Anandghan Waghmare
    Anandghan Waghmare is an IIT Patna Alumni currently working as Software Engineer at CISCO Systems. ​ It started with me watching an episode of Aamir Khan's Satyamev Jayate ....the urge inside me to help others took a plunge...i came up with the idea of building a smart phone for the people who are blind.....i teamed up with my tech-mate Vidit and started the endeavor.....after a number of failures and design issues....we finally came up with an out of box design which was not made before....after a lot of soldering, drilling and 3D printing we got our first prototype.....and the best moment was when a blind person used the phone and said 'Thank you for this'.
  • Vivek Atray
    Vivek Atray is an avid writer and an IAS officer. He contributes articles on humour, sports and matter of general interest, to a variety of publications, including 'Middles' in The Tribune and in the Times of India, as also articles in the Chandigarh editions of the Hindustan Times, the Indian Express, and in an India Today supplement. He authored a book MOVE ON BUNNY!- The uproarious escapades of Bunny Kapoor - in 2011 which sold over 8000 copies. Vivek has also worked in the corporate sector, for KPMG and PwC and has particularly excelled in the fields of IT (including e-Governance), Public Relations/Communications, Entertainment and Tourism.   • Vasu Primlani
    Ms. Vasu Primlani is a globally celebrated comic, environmentalist, triathlete and speaker. She is the recipient of over a dozen international awards for her environmental work, including the highest US EPA award, the highest and most prestigious state of California environmental and economic achievement award, and is a global Ashoka fellow. She specializes in systemic social and environmental change, and uses comedy for her communication; she is one of the leading standup comedians in India today. ​Of the rules Vasu follows in her act, the most important is that her jokes are based on her experiences. “If you are honest about your experiences, chances are the audience will relate to you,” she says. “You need to have lived a crazy life in order to talk about it. And, there is no better way of getting your message across than garnering empathy,” she says. When she is not making the world greener or cracking folks up, Vasu works at getting fitter. She is preparing to complete level four of the Iron Man challenge that requires athletes to swim 3 km, cycle 180 km and run 42 km in 18 hours. “I’ve always been an athlete, and started at the second level of the Iron Man challenge only three years ago. I was surprised how easily I passed the level and so decided to challenge myself to prepare for the final level.”
