“Yes, You Can!” – The intent of the event is to spread different perspectives of the achievers who has fought against odds to make things possible. Change is inevitable in our current business environment and these perspectives will motivate everyone to learn, adapt and move on. Talks of this event are intended to bring our folks in HP ISO, into different scenarios of life that are inspiring in order to experience the inexperience.

Mahantesh G.K.

Born in a small yet culturally rich town of Belgaum. He has achieved a lot more than his parents would have dreamed of him as a child. An avid student of English literature, He was very good with sports, cultural activities throughout his academic years. Since founding Samarthanam in 1997, He is known for his social work; especially in the disability sector, however his other stints include founding Bcare—an organization for the support and rehabilitation of HIV / AIDS patients, and he is the General secretary of Cricket Association for the Blind in Indian(CABI) and Vice-President of World Blind Cricket Council(WBCC).

Vipul Goyal

An Electrical Engineering graduate from IIT Bombay. Fresh out of college, he worked as a retail analyst in Adventity Inc. for 6 months, but soon realized that his heart was in H.R. where HR stands for HUMOR Resources. . Within a very short span of time he has entertained the audience at all the premium colleges ,corporate and entrepreneur summits and has been financially laughing his way to the banks....for loans .As he humorously puts it , he has the distinction of being the only stand up comic in India who performs in 4 different languages, English , Hindi , Java and C++.

Vasanthi Hariprakash

An independent journalist, TV & radio personality, besides being a documentary filmmaker and media trainer. She was a special Correspondent with NDTV. and has also reported from Nepal and Laos for the BBC World series ‘One Square Mile’, besides contributing news features for BBC News Online. Before her tv stint, she was on Radio City 91.1 FM as RJ of the primetime breakfast show ‘Good Morning Bangalore’. Nicknamed `Bangalore's Sunshine Girl' by her listeners, She was awarded `Best English RJ’, and represented India as a Global Young Leader in 2007. In 2012 she has also been won a n award ‘Change agent par excellence’ by Rotary Bangalore.

Nikhil Velpanur

A builder of things. He runs a multidisciplinary studio called Boiled Beans Inc that works at the intersection of technology and the real world. He started his career when he dropped out of college to publish and edit an 8k/month counterculture magazine called Strange Brew, that later turned into a media house that produced movies and an ethnographic practice. He also founded letshead.to, one of the world's first deal buying websites that used to sell/gift food and drink online. He has founded two nonprofits in education and healthcare, was part of the founding team of the INK conference in association with TED and built 140verses.com, a machine that makes poems from random sentences on twitter. He was awarded a TED fellowship in 2009, and gave a talk at TEDactive 2013.

Varun Agarwal

A first-generation entrepreneur film maker and author. He cofounded Alma Mater and two other companies - Reticular and Last Minute Films. He is also the author of a book How I Braved Anu Aunty and Co-Founded A Million Dollar Company. During his engineering college days in Bangalore, he started film-making and founded 'Last Minute Films' at the age of 19. At 23, he cofounded his second business venture, Alma Mater, with his friend Rohan Malhotra. Alma Mater has successfully partnered with educational institutions across India in being able to make and supply customized sweatshirts to alumni. It is now India's largest company for providing merchandise to students of schools and colleges. Besides these two companies he also co-founded Reticular. Varun has been featured on the cover of India Today as well as on the CNBC Young Turks Show.
