Theme: Ideas at the Edge

This event occurred on
November 6, 2010
10:30am - 10:30am ACDT
(UTC +10.5hrs)

The theme for TEDxAdelaide is ‘ideas at the edge’. Our program has been designed with this theme in mind from three different perspectives. First we’ve found examples of cutting-edge research in augmented reality, health and food technology that might indicate ways in which our future could unfold. Second we’ve chosen a mix of speakers, including those that might not usually be heard, so we are including voices from the edge of our community. Lastly, beyond Adelaide and South Australia is Antarctica. We are on the edge of the world, and TEDxAdelaide gives us a chance to show the rest of the world some of the great ideas we have here on the edge.
