Theme: Turning Points

While speakers come from a variety of backgrounds, they all have one thing in common: a Turning Point. Either through an idea, an experience or an event, they are driven by a particular change that moved something in a different direction. The theme invites speakers to share their epiphanies and the discovery of new lifestyles, as well as the lessons learnt by going through extreme or unusual experiences. These changes can be individual, but also cultural or social, affecting a society’s way of thinking or acting. Turning Points speaks about those shifts in thinking that have the potential to change the world, and reunites inspiring individuals who lead through example or visionary thinking.
