TEDxHECMontréal 2013 is organized by a group of students from the university of HEC Montréal. While there is no explicitly stated theme, the event is carefully being put together in accordance to the values that personify not only the university but also the individual members organizing the event. For an entire day, professionals and students will find themselves in an atmosphere specifically intended to share ideas as well as provoke surprise and wonder at the same time. There are 12 speakers lined up to inspire ideas, passion, and wonder all the while respecting the values that represent TED and HEC Montréal. There will be 300 participants attending the event, selected in accordance to their willingness to participate in the sharing of ideas. The goal of the event is to give these participants the chance to evolve their attitudes, lives, and perhaps even their future.
