Theme: Contemplating Pangaeanism

This event occurred on
April 7, 2013
2:00pm - 6:00pm (UTC +5.5hrs)
Varanasi
India

The theme of the event is 'Contemplating Pangaeanism’ - A futuristic idea of envisaging the prospects of a unified world with a single political, defense, law, economic & education system'. In other words, a world without borders.

The inception of this hypothetical idea lies in the realization that if India can be a unity in diversity despite being a cluster of mutually fighting states just 200 years ago, is it possible for the world to morph into such a system, given that gigantic leaps in technology is shrinking the global village each day?

We first therefore open a debate on the prospects of existence of such a system in the future. If yes, will the establishment of such a system gleefully lead to world peace where each nation cooperates with each other instead of competing OR is this common existence a highly unstable ecosystem ?
