  Nguyễn Thành Phong, a young comic artist from Vietnam who has a deep love and admiration with the Vietnamese rich traditional cultural values, especially its charming and humorous features. They influenced his thoughts and behavior when he was young, and have become the starting points of his entire comic works so far. The comic genre he enjoys the most is experimental comics such as narrative portrait and autobiography. He wants to demonstrate the Vietnamese lifestyle in modern life, how they bring their traditional lifestyles towards modernization and what their attitude are towards those adaptation are. And he also has a great passion in Vietnamese historical comics. “Comics has its own language no matter where the artists come from.”
