Scott Brusaw

Recipient of the 2010 GE Eco-magination Prize for his Solar Roadways project, Scott is an electrical engineer (MSEE) with over 20 years of industry experience. This includes serving as the Director of Research and Development at a manufacturing facility in Ohio (developing their line of products for over 12 years), a voting member of NEMA (National Electrical Manufacturers Association), and developing several networked control systems from the ground up. Scott has multiple patents and his hardware and software have been sold internationally. Scott is also an ex-Marine Corps sergeant, a former Cub Scout Cubmaster, a former Boy Scout Scoutmaster, Chairman of the Board of Directors of his church, has been active in home schooling, 4-H, children's sports coaching, and teaching Sunday School. His interests include religious studies, the Civil War, NFL football, spending time in the woods, and playing on his John Deere tractor.

Robyn Waxman

Robyn Waxman is an award-winning designer, educator, activist and farmer. Having taught at a variety of colleges and universities for over 15 years, she is a founding faculty member for the Graphic Communication program at Sacramento City College. Additionally, Robyn is the Coordinator of Design Education for The Designers Accord and is coediting a toolkit on sustainability in design education. She has taught, lectured and presented her work and thinking at California College of the Arts, UC Berkeley, UC Davis, UC Santa Cruz, the Artists and Art Director's Club, the AIGA, and the Arts Institute of Sacramento. Currently, Robyn's work focuses on design's role in the next generation of collective action. Several media outlets featured her urban farming projects, including the San Francisco MOMA, KPFA Radio, Communication Arts Magazine, Print Magazine, and the AIGA. Robyn holds a bachelors degree in Visual Communication from the University of Delaware and a Master of Fine Arts in Design from California College of the Arts, where she was the 2009 graduation speaker and remains a "spotlighted" alumna. She currently practices design, teaches, and reclaims land for building urban farms in San Francisco, Sacramento, and Davis, California.

Chris Schuring

Chris brings an extensive 30-year career in the technology field with advancement into executive management. Mr. Schuring has been instrumental in the evaluation and selection of technologies that were responsible for revenue generation and capture in many organizations that resulted in significant investment returns.   He held key management positions at six startup firms in both strategic and tactical areas. Consulted and held TAB positions with Internet startup companies (Ehealthco.com, BigMachine.com, Krynex, Stario, XCF Tech, FiveStar Medical, Gpower, GenUTech). As well as attending several Nationally recognized sales and motivational training seminars over a 20 year period.   Including International Operations development in Korea, Japan, United Kingdom, Germany and Domestic Operational Development in New York and California. Mr. Schuring has proven himself in the area of budget management and project administration and sales development.
