About this event

Ideas are powerful and impactful. We believe that the youth exposed to these diverse and engaging ideas can move the world. TEDx is a platform for sharing “ideas worth spreading” and to catalyze these ideas to impact the local community. We wish to be involved in a powerful exchange of ideas with children and young adults.

TEDxKids@CubbonPark aims to utilize TED’s education style to create a thought provoking day for the kids. Along with this event, we spend substantial amount of time with the kids through a number of pre-event training sessions to ensure we were creating more than a fleeting one-day conference experience for the kids. The pre-TEDx training sessions are aimed at instilling in these young minds the power of ideas and opening them to the possibilities of pursuing interests and careers of their choice. The first TEDx under the license of TEDxKids@CubbonPark will be held at Sukrupa for 67 underprivileged students studying in classes 6th to 10th.

TEDxKids@CubbonPark will have speakers coming from academic and training backgrounds to share with students the diversity of opportunities available to them. The TEDx is a platform for facilitating opportunities to empower kids and support authentic learning. The students and young adults will share their experiences and showcase their talents through performances. Remarkable people with young hearts will share their captivating stories borne from genuine curiosity and bold ideas and reinforce the idea of pursuing careers and interests based on choice and talent. We believe sharing great ideas is important in building a community that supports kids as they’re learning to be!
