Karen J Atkins
Karen Atkins is a Certified Wudang Qi Gong Instructor, Advanced Certified BodyTalk Instructor, Award-Winning Songwriter, Photographer, Licenced Massage Therapist and Powerful Visionary. She brings to her classes a wealth of knowledge from years of formal study and self-guided exploration that has included music, a plethora of philosophies and ancient systems, movement therapy, nutrition, counseling, energetic medicine, dance, yoga, martial arts & various approaches to meditation. In 2005 she set up The BodyTalk Center to facilitate the growth of the alternative healthcare modalities, including the BodyTalk System and to support the development of practitioners in the Northeast. In 2008, the center grew to become Nurture New York and expanded its reach to support numerous alternative healing modalities and education, as well as programs for the arts and for children. It soon became clear that the programs needed to extend globally and the business evolved into Nurture Planet. -

Julie Greene is the Executive Director of Solar Cookers International, founded in 1987 and headquartered in Sacramento, California. She is an impassioned solar cook, experienced presenter and educator. -
Lucinda K. Porter
Lucinda K. Porter, RN, author of Free from Hepatitis C: Your Complete Guide to Healing Hepatitis C has hepatitis C. Since 1998, the former Stanford University nurse has worked with hepatitis C patients and is devoted to education and advocacy for those affected by this disease. In addition to national speaking and interviews, Lucinda has written hundreds of articles and pamphlets, including two monthly columns for the HCVAdvocate.org. Lucinda’s second book will be published in 2013 (Demos) She wants all Baby Boomers and everyone with risk factors to be tested for hepatitis C. Lucinda lives in Grass Valley, CA. -
Tiffany Gray
I am Tiffany Gray. I was born in 1993 to two teenagers. I have a total of ten siblings. Growing up both of my parents did drugs, I had an abusive stepdad, and my father was in jail. I got involved with Friendship Club when I was eleven. I moved out for good when I was sixteen. In high school I was deemed homeless, that same school year I met the Weidler family who I have been living with since February of 2011. Currently I go to college, work full time and I’m in a stable relationship. -
Amanda Thibodeau
Amanda Thibodeau is the founder of the Food Love Project, an educational farm in Nevada City, California. She has a background in healthcare, which inspired her current career as a preventive health advocate and farmer. Additionally, Amanda is the project coordinator for Live Healthy Nevada County, where she is working on developing a county wide farm to school program and paving the way for a change in school food for local students. Originally from Houston, Texas she received a BA in communications from Clark University in 2005. -
Katie Rubin
Katie Sabira is a professional regional theater, tv and film actress who also tours original solo theatrical work, and gives private Energy Healing Sessions. Katie received her MFA in Acting from UC Davis in 2005, and earned her BA in Theater and Dance at Amherst College. She has studied classical, jazz, and musical theater vocal techniques for 15 years. In New York, she studied acting at The Wynn Handman Studios at Carnegie Hall. In Los Angeles, she studied The Viewpoints and Suzuki Actor Training with Anne Bogart’s SITI Company.
