Held in conjunction with TEDxWomen - TEDxShanghaiWomen brought together over 200 women and men from across Shanghai. Five local speakers spoke about Navigating the Space Between Cultures, and the group also watched a livestream of the first session, Poverty and Plenty, from TEDxWomen in Washington, D.C. Our speakers during their talks exhibited several core values, including passion, perseverance, community, openness/truth, and compassion. Our selected speakers were: Mary Bergstrom, Founder, The Bergstrom Group Wang Zuoxin (Cindy), Professor, Shanghai Conservatory of Music Peggy Liu, Chairperson and Co-Founder, JUCCCE Nancy Pon, Leader, TOUCH media Sheila Seiler, President, BEAN Shanghai The event was moderated by Amy Sommers.
