About this event
Thank you to everyone who participated in TEDxWestVillageWomen 2012.
We streamed one session of the annual TEDxWomen conference live from the stage in Washington, DC. and then had a series of conversations in smaller groups. The theme of the conference this year is 'The Space Between.' We creatied TEDxWestVillageWomen to give people a chance to explore ideas that are not at one extreme or the other so we invited people at various stages of their work careers, ranging in age from 20ish to 70ish, to swap ideas and perspectives.
The session that we streamed live from Washington was called: The Mirror: The space between what we see and what is true
In New York, Ashley Milne-Tyte, creator of the podcast The Broad Experience, was our on-stage host. Laura Bilodeau Overdeck, founder of Bedtime Math gave a live talk. All of the participants then shared their ideas in smaller groups.
