About this event
Our political leaders understand it, our best business leaders exemplify it, our nation’s forefather’s engaged in it to win our independence. Africa is renown for it’s long history of oral tradition. From campfires to commencements, the continent’s history of storytelling and compelling narrative stems deep, more so within Kenya’s rich ethnic fabric.
TEDxNairobi 2012 celebrates the raconteur by challenging some of the nation’s best orators on the theme of reviving the long lost art of conversation. Persuasive points of view and challenging rhetoric with wit and wisdom; the point isn’t so much that we get answers, as much as it is about asking great questions.
This year, TEDxNairobi celebrates both the story and the storyteller.
