About this event

Unlike other TEDx conferences, TEDxDaejeon’s salon event idea comes from the culture that has been passed on from ancient Greece’s ‘Agora’, and ‘Forum’ from the Roman times. It’s an event that lets less amount of people create deeper networking, which makes it a ‘smaller but deeper communication’ event.

Confirmed Speakers

  • Jung-Ho Park
Researcher from KDI(Korea Development Institute), He has been worked at KDI providing research and analysis of economic policy decisions for Korean society. However, he has a deep knowledge in Humanities as well as design. He says that the key to answer the problem called "The Tragedy of Commons," one of the well-known theories in Economics, is in Humanities. All kinds of records throughout the generations are in Humanities. He talks about "Humanities of using space" which plays an important role in between relationships of friends and co-workers. These days, 'communication' is a lot mentioned in each part of societies in the world. Let's follow the lead of main speaker's talk.
