TEDxCaleaVictoriei ED - 100 for Education

Following the concept of ideas worth spreading, we embark on a journey for a TED ED event that envisages to empower ideas that change mentalities, attitudes and action and mobilizes towards activism.

Thus we propose a TED ED event which will include a selection of motivational speeches given by inspirational educational thinkers and practitioners from Romania as well as the future enhancement of a community of people who share similar educational ideas and passions.

Why a TED ED event?
Because we want to show that good things are happening in education, learning and innovation in Romania, things that have the potential to transform the educational paradigm in the country.

Because good ideas deserve to be shared and can be a catalyst for a transformation process.

Because we envisage the capitalization of 100 young motivated persons to produce social change with regard to education in Romania. The 100 for Education are young professionals from various fields, which are involved in projects / educational initiatives and are motivated to make a stand for education.

Through this event we aim to contribute actively in supporting an educational platform out of which people get their inspiration and motivation for new business, impact all made inside a network of practitioners.

The event will consist in motivational speeches in the form of lessons worth spreading.

All these lessons, and a few extra networking activities will be put on stage at the Odeon Theatre, Sala Studio, starting from 10 a.m and ending at 18 p.m. on May 28, 2013.
