About this event
There is a substantial consensus that America under-invests in early childhood development, and that the adverse effects are felt not only by the children themselves, but by the nation as a whole in such forms as increased challenges for public schooling and poorer public health. There is no consensus, however, about public policies to address this under-investment.
TEDxMiamiUniversity will present six original talks with a variety of perspectives. In addition, those who attend the conference will have several opportunities to interact with both scholars and practitioners.
