TEDxLemek is a two day special event to promote and continue the exchange of ideas. For ideas to truly be powerful and serve as a catalysts for change, they need to represent something more than numbers. For ideas to have real impact, they need to be shared.

TEDxLemek will share these ideas across our global platform of partners in more than 129 countries. We will begin with success in collaborations on the most local level of Lemek and Narok North County, continue across Kenya, spreading throughout East Africa and again using the TEDx platform we will experience exponential growth, disseminating ideas in every country in the world.

Talks will cover many topics from:
• Kenya’s new constitution
• Living and celebrating life post positive HIV test,
• Youth peace campaign a must as elections near
• The risks of GMO’s being tested in East Africa
• I want my culture to live- I am Kenyan
• Kenya’s national flower littering landscape (plastic bags)
• Poaching on the rise- is awareness campaigns enough
• Art, creative community makes the world better
