Dr Nirmal M B

Environmentalist Nirmal is the founder of Exnora International, a Non-Governmental Organization, which focuses in solving environmental problems like garbage accumulation. He is the recipient of “Environmental Leadership award” presented by US Consul General in 2005. He is also a powerful motivating speaker and a writer and has authored many books on individual and societal development. He is also a very good innovator who conceptualized solid and liquid Waste Management at various levels.

Shankar Tucker

American clarinetist and music composer Shankar Tucker is very well known by the popularity of his ongoing series of online music videos called, “The ShrutiBox”. The young musician blends Classical Indian music, jazz and pop music to create a unique fusion which has captivated nearly three million people in a very short span. Songs from the “ShrutiBox” featured in MTV India’s Roots program which showcases artists with strong South Asian music influence.

Hari Shankaran

Entrepreneur Hari Shankaran, graduated from NIT, Trichy, co-founded Interviewstreet along with his friend from NIT. They started it as a platform for conducting mock interviews for students but now help companies by conducting online programming tests to check a student’s programming skill. He started his career by working in IBM and later launched Interview Street in December 2010. Interview Street is the first Indian company to be chosen for an incubation program at Y Combinator, an American seed-stage startup funding firm.

Thiagarajan K

Mr. Thiagarajan heads the operations of Agastya International Foundation, a non profit which runs world’s largest hands-on science education program serving the education needs of economically backward school children. Besides operations, he is involved with scaling, policy, funding, and development of products/services for the foundation.A Chemical Engineer from IIT, Madras he holds an MBA from IIM, Ahmedabad and has spent 33 years working in corporate sector serving diverse sectors such as Engineering, IT, ITes & Infrastructure as President, MD & CEO before moving to the social sector at Agastya. He has lectured in leading Business Schools including the ISB, IIMs in India and Global schools such as London Business School and Kellogg in Nothwestern.

Kaushik Chakraborty

Mr. Kaushik is a well-known trainer, facilitator, seminar leader and coach who is known to connect authentically with people through spiritually blended, high on energy and engaging workshops and speeches. He works extensively in the area of Leadership development, Human psychology, Human Relationships and team effectiveness. He speaks extensively in Corporates and Management Schools in India and abroad

Siddharth Chandrasekhar

Siddharth Chandrasekhar started his career as a graphic designer after dropping out of his under graduate degree in Visual communications from California College of Arts and Crafts, San Francisco. He later started Mitrra Media, whichrevolutionized and redefined feature film publicity and promotions. He has created many firsts in the film industry like talking invitations, audio video invitations and different collaterals packaged thematically. He has the credit of working with almost all the leading stars and directors across South .He has worked on more than 100 films and some of the films he has worked on are Ghajini, Sivaji, Chandramukhi, Endiran, Nanban etc.

Ramachandra Budihal

Ramachandra Budihal, a software specialist from Wipro and the brain behind the Mahabharata Samshodhana Pratishthana (Mahabharata Research Foundation) initiative, is a master story-teller who uses technology to do the same. He draws from his work in digital image processing and multimedia to revive and protect works of Indian heritage. Be it a trip to the ancient ruins of Hampi or the sprawling infosys campus, he does it all with a headset which he places over his eyes and begins projecting his augmented reality system.

Dr. Revathi Raj

Dr. Revathi Raj scripted medical history by successfully conducting a unrelated bone marrow transplant in an eight-year-old Ugandan boy using the cord blood cells from an American donor, at a fraction of what the procedure would cost internationally.A senior consultant for Paediatric Haematology at the Apollo Hospital, Dr. Revathi helped set up the Thalassaemia Welfare Association in Voluntary Health Services, Chennai. The centre helps care for over 200 patients with thalassaemia major who are given free blood transfusion, expert consultation and iron chelation therapy. For a social cause, she aims on working towards involving more public-private partnership to help improve access to care for children from poor socio-economic background.

Venkat Subramanian

Venkat did his Undergraduation from IIT, Kharagpur in B.Arch and his Master in Computer Science from Univeristy at Albany, NY. Prior to starting efarm , he has held techno-commercial roles for various IT firms across the globe. eFarm’s solution takes a more holistic approach , addressing the key needs and pain points of all stakeholders in the agri supply chain – farmers, transporters , intermediaries end consumers – to evolve a sustainable , transparent and efficient new distribution mechanism. It operates in the B2B space and serves bulk consumers of agri produce such as hotels, caterers, retail chains , food processing industries and vegetable vendors, and also runs a retail outlet for the Indian army.

Samuel Eddy

In 1995, Samuel Eddy set up Chennai’s first event management Company and came up with the concept of Corporate Recreation services for the IT industry. He also set up India’s first Petting Zoo .In 2008 he set up a Finishing School for Engineering graduates helping over 1500 students get placement in IT companies. He then was Marine Coordinator for a shipping company handling the quantity and quality analysis of all crude oil coming into the country, Eddy is also the Chief Coordinator for TEDxChennai . In 2011 he was the Curator and Sole licensee for BIL conferences in India and organaised the first ever BIL Conference in Chennai.He is now involved in bringing in several TED like concepts like Chic Meets Geek ,Do lectures etc to India. He is also the Founder of F4( Face to Face Facebook Friends) an unique meetup which has no agenda nor timing, which is rapidly spreading all over the country and the world. In May 2011 Samuel relocated to the United States and is now involved in promting US companies,concepts and opportunities in India.
