تنظم كلية دارالحكمة بالتعاون مع TEDx Arabia ملتقى TEDx DAH Women غير المسبوق،الذي يعكس دور المرأة السعودية الفاعل والشامل في عملية البناء والتنمية محليا وعالميا. وتشارك في هذا الملتقى مجموعة من السعوديات اللاتي يعرضن من خلال منصته نماذج عن تجاربهن القيمة التي تحمل أفكارا خلاّقة ومبدعة وقيادية ،تستحق النظر إليها بعين الاهتمام واستلهام الآخرين لها.

كما يعزز الملتقى دور المرأة السعودية في تطوير المجتمع وتأكيد الثقة في قدرتها على تطوير المجتمعات المحلية والعالمية وبناء المستقبل. كذلك يعد نقطة التقاء مهمة لتشارك فيه المراة السعودية العالم بتجاربها وأفكارها الرائدة التي تصدر عن حسّ وطني عال ٍ، تسعى من خلاله إلى تحقيق المواطنة العالمية سعيا لخدمة الإنسانية بما يحقق الخير والنماء للمجتمعات البشرية.

On Thursday, Dec. 1, 2011 Dar Al-Hekma College is organizing TEDxDAHWomen event with prominent local women presenters and hosting a live stream of TEDxWomen from New York.

The event is designed to provide a platform for women in Saudi Arabia to present and share their innovative, creative and inspirational ideas and experiences that are worth spreading through a wider audience and learning from others around the world،

The TEDxDAHWomen is being organized by Dar Al-Hekma College through the Division of Student Affairs in collaboration with TEDxArabia and will be inaugurated by Dar Al-Hekma President, Dr. Suhair Hassan Al Qurashi.

Announced speakers who will be live streamed from New York include well-known figures such as Barbara Walters, Shahira Amin, Laura Seydel, Tan Le; and among local presenters, Dr. Basma Omair, Dr. Lama Sulaiman, Dr.Mona Sawaf,Etedal Idriss, Rolla Basamad, Lama Alsharif, Lamees Bjunaid, among others, are featured.

The evening long event will take place in Pr. Bandar Bin Sultan Auditorium at Dar Al-Hekma College on Thursday evening, December 1, 2011. Entrance is open to women only.
