Nikko Snyder

With a background in music, a passion for filmmaking, and a bona fide obsession with gardening and sustainable food systems, Nikko Snyder’s eclectic career has seen her publish magazines, perform in symphonies, produce independent films, and farm organically.

Jeffery Straker

Singer-songwriter-pianist Jeffery Straker tours 100+ shows a year across Canada, has recorded for CBC Radio’s Canada Live, and has had a music video in the top 10 on Much More Music. He recently performed his sold-out orchestral debut with the Regina Symphony Orchestra and took his folk-pop-cabaret music on tour in Africa in Feb 2012. He’s performed at national showcase events including Canadian Music Week, Breakout West & JunoFest with Canadian Musician Magazine saying “Very much an artist to watch”.

Jayden Pfeifer

Jayden Pfeifer is a Regina-based actor, improviser, and teacher. He has appeared in numerous performances on the Globe Theatre Mainstage, as well as several independent theatre productions. Jayden’s 12-year long improvisation career has been very successful. Since joining General Fools in 1997, he has committed himself to the performance and teaching of improvisation. Jayden has attended several international improv festivals, and has often served as guest director & instructor during those festivals.

Jennifer Keesmaat

As an urban planner with a distinct interest in the political processes that shape cities, communities, and places, Jennifer’s planning approach recognizes the strategic importance of consensus building to successful plan implementation. Jennifer has successfully managed a variety of complex and multidisciplinary projects, including large scale municipal planning, urban design, campus planning, visioning, and public policy development processes.

Dr. Ryan Meili

Ryan Meili is a family doctor at the West Side Community Clinic in Saskatoon. He also works for the College of Medicine at the University of Saskatchewan as head of the Division of Social Accountability, where he’s responsible for helping ensure that Saskatchewan’s future doctors are equipped to meet the health needs of the diverse communities they will serve. Ryan also serves as vice-chair of the national advocacy organization, Canadian Doctors for Medicare.

Dr. David Gerhard

David Gerhard is an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science and an associate member in the Department of Music at the University of Regina. He is founder and director of the Rough Music and Audio Digital Interaction Lab (aRMADILo), which provides facilities to researchers and visiting artists focusing on usability and interaction with artistic pursuits. His research focuses on computational interaction with information-rich human data such as music, speech, vision and movement, both from an analytical perspective and a synthesis perspective.

Dr. Charity Marsh

Dr Charity Marsh is Canada Research Chair in Interactive Media and Performance and Associate Professor in the Faculty of Fine Arts at the University of Regina. She has published research on Indigenous Hip Hop Culture, DJ Cultures and Electronic Dance Music Cultures, Arts-based Community Research, and Production and Performance of Popular Music in Western and Northern Canada.

Elan Morgan

Elan Morgan is a blogger, iPhoneographer, and website designer who lives and loves on the internet, where she has been creating community and sharing her writing and photography since August of 2003. She can most commonly be found at her personal weblog, Schmutzie.com, but she is also the founder of her professional home base, Ninjamatics, and a social network dedicated to appreciating the small stuff, Grace in Small Things. She also gets social on Twitter and Facebook.
